California Trip

First stop off the plane, the beach. 70 degrees that day! Yes.

Cousins at play.

Not a cloud in the sky.

Serious sand castle building going on.

Nate wanted to go on Ryan's boogie board.

Next day, San Francisco!

Alcatraz behind us.

Spring was in bloom, definitely not happening back home!

All the seals laying in the sunshine.

View of the city.

Beautiful clear skies that day.

Naters at the bridge.

How cute are these pictures of him.

All wrapped up in his moose blanket.

Attempting a family pic.  AJ nowhere near the camera :)

Riding the train at the Sacramento Zoo.

I think Nate got a little scared.

And tried to escape.

Rawrrr.

I think this was Nate's favorite, a lifesized dump trunk to play on.

Next--the funny picture boards. Jody's turn!

Now Nate.

Peek A Boo.

Nate driving.

AJ takes over.

And another attempt at a picture of all of us. Took a few tries.

Oops AJ couldn't wait for the timer.

And now AJ is mad. Haha.

Ice cream with Aunt Debbie in JapanTown.  Don't think Deb got any of that ice cream.

And maybe I let him have some brownie batter when I made brownies for Jody's bday.

Just a little bit. Ha.

January...So Far

Happy 2013! Sparklers outside on a frigid night. Oh wait, all of January has been frigid.

Say it ain't so.

Oh yeah, THERE's my car.
A massive snow storm buried me inside the house for a couple days.  Major cabin fever.

So I wasn't sad at all to head to St. George for work for a week.
It was in the 40's but that was a heat wave compared to home. I will take the sunshine, yes I will.

View of the valley.

Then KK and Mini KK decided to head down and join me for some sun.

How cute are these two.

See that sliver of an opening behind me?
KK tried to get me to hike through it insisting I would fit.
I told her I didn't want to have to cut off my arm, no thank you.

Me and Mini KK.

Ain't she cute.

Thanks for the shot KK.

AAAAAND now I'm back to this. Nasty inversion.  Please go away winter.
We've had enough. MMkay thanks.

What is this you ask? Again the nasty inversion, only driving at night.
Yes, yes you're right...Can't see jack squat.

Oy ve, it's not even February yet.

Christmas Festivities

Spent Christmas in Boise.  Always a good time.

First things first.  Annual cookie decorating contest.  The judges deliberating over the entries.
cough*choose the snowman*cough
Excuse Me?  My hipster snowman got honorable mention?
With glasses, mustache, tie, scarf, and unspoken white skinny jeans.

The judges said I couldn't win every year so they said I have to go pro.  Hmph.

Allison won in two categories.
cough*her dad is a judge*cough
Just kidding, that candle is pretty dang good.

Gracie and her mad skills.

Cute Heather.
Lauren won Best Brown-Noser Cookie.

Nativity Scene by the Kids.

Allie back in her festive get-up.  Her necklace even lit up.
Let's take a closer look at those socks shall we.

Okay, time for a dance party.

And we couldn't let the new version of Just Dance 4 go to waste.  Mmhmm.

"Totes Awk" as Allie would say.  Hahaha
Fierce Determination.

Not pictured: Grace and Jessica's amazing "I've Had the Time of My Life" rendition dance.  Complete with
an attempted lift at the end.  Standing ovation.

Heather resting up before her next dance.

Oh yeah.
Also not pictured: the million board games we played, the million hashtags we said
Just came home yesterday and already missing this crew.
