Woodstock, VA

Here are some pictures of my hometown,  I forgot my camera every time so these are all from my phone, oops.

Good old main street.  It was hopping, with three cars.  Haha...

The court house (there's mom reading the sign)

The theater!  I think my TV at home might be just slightly smaller than the screens they have here.  Haha...

More on Main Street.

They were actually playing up to date movies, way to go Woodstock! :)

Pretty houses.

The military academy

Country side

So pretty and green

Here's dad plowing the garden

Nice straight lines for the corn, Chauncie (dad) Haha

By the way I think my dad's plow that he has pre-dates the Civil War, pretty sure.
Time to upgrade dad.  He said it was 35 years old, times two.

The sunset from the front yard.

The river in Edinburg.

It was so nice to be home.

Washington DC, Part 2

The Vietnam Wall.

A panoramic shot

The air and space museum

We went to Alexandria for the day, it was really fun.  We did a lot of shopping, then when it was time to leave
we took a boat ride back to Georgetown.  Of course that was the only time it kind of rained on us, when we were
on a boat.  Ha.  It wasn't bad though.

The rotunda of The Capitol

Oh and Yes.  We went to Georgetown Cupcake. The line was huge, we probably waited
45 minutes, I made Katie do this.  Ha.  She doesn't even like cupcakes, but she humored me and
we still got a half dozen. Haha.  They were so meticulous when packaging the cupcakes it was crazy.

Their menu is forever long.

Yes please.

The monuments from the water

I talked Katie into getting some aviators too. Ha.

Just on the boat, heading into that big storm behind us :)

Check out those dark clouds.

But then the sun came out!

We walked by Georgetown Cupcake again the next day and had to get another shot.

Saying goodbye at the airport.  Boo...

It was such a fun trip, I didn't want her to leave.  Until next time, K.
