Christmas Festivities

Spent Christmas in Boise.  Always a good time.

First things first.  Annual cookie decorating contest.  The judges deliberating over the entries.

The judges said I couldn't win every year so they said I have to go pro.  Hmph.

Christmas Lights

Quick trip to see the lights when Jody and crew
came through SL for Thanksgiving.

I am pretty sure the boys loved the lights.

I worked at Bath & Body Works a million years ago, and realized I had one stock leftover.  So I sold that puppy and I just got my check (they took half in taxes, boo)  That's okay, it was a fun job.
I mean, taking out the trash wasn't even bad--it smelled like Sweet Pea and Country Apple.

 I'm really going to miss those 11 cents quarterly dividend checks though.

Bear Lake

Dear Summer, I'm not quite done with you yet.
So thanks for letting me squeeze in a last minute trip to Bear Lake last weekend. 

It was all Kelly's idea.  I couldn't say no.

Hadn't been to Bear Lake since college, but the one thing I remembered about going there was the good shakes.
I got chocolate peanut butter. Yes I did.
